I’m not sure, but I think tomorrow is the start of a Christmas countdown. So for those of you relish that kind of thing, here’s a transitional image—autumn to Christmas. Or perhaps just a photo marking the beginning of the November rainy season.  But wait, didn’t we just have that?

Here’s an starkly beautiful image taken from the Kettle River Provincial Park (near Rock Creek). We’re looking above the old Kettle River Railway and the Kettle River, across the road to Kelowna and to the hills beyond.

Light Test

Testing
We were testing for background and for light in preparation for a corporate shoot the other morning. Look what showed up in the background when the others were putting on their boots!

In case you are wondering, I can’t show you the shots we did do, at least not until they are used by the company and I get the OK. (This is common for commercial photo sessions.)

Booth Canal East
Booth Canal is one of those places that seems to change in different light, weather and, of course, tides. This is the view on the other side of then bridge (as in ‘the other side of the tracks’.) The mud flats were looking pretty nice on this wet autumn afternoon—a good hair day.
