Salt Spring Sky

After Sunset Last Evening
9:45 p.m. Looking west-northwest, 300°

Nice colour after sunset last evening. This photo, taken from our bedroom window includes my favourite tree. And some of my not so favourite trees which, growing up to two feet per year, have pretty much eliminated the ocean and mountain view.

stunning! Today on the golf course we saw an unusual rainbow. It was a coloured streak across the sky but did not touch down. I think the humidity in the sky made it a very different type of rainbow!

Wow, love to see that! I think it might be called a fire rainbow.

I’ve always been opposed to topping trees but……no I couldn’t. Maybe just build the house higher.

We’ve built this house more than 25 yrs ago. The house would have to have been 50 feet taller (so far). And that doesn’t work as we built to the maximum height allowed. ;-)
