Here’s a new view of Salt Spring Island. OK, perhaps not a new view. But a photo of a view that was new to me, and hopefully, to you.
We’re looking north west over Gary Oaks Winery and Vineyard. Their website says their location has great Fung Shui. Not sure about that, but it’s a peaceful view over the farms, Burgoyne Bay, the mouth of Sansum Narrows (on the upper left) and Vancouver Island beyond.
This area is sometimes referred to as Lee’s Hill. In the foreground, across the first field you can see power lines running left to right. These are along the main road from Fulford to Ganges.

I’m told this is a certified organic crop of Nugget and Cascade hops used in Saltspring Island Ales.

Several hands are need to raise the mast on Sweet Heart at Drummond Park, Fulford Harbour.
