Not sure what you’re asking exactly. I headed down to the water hoping the clouds would open up a bit and show the rising sun. The camera was on a tripod and I took a few test exposures as the sky began to pick up some colour. When the sun did make a last minute appearance, I was ready. And when the gull was in the frame I was able to catch him/her at full wingspan.
