This old home is aging no-so-gracefully on Salt Spring Island.

The side of one of Salt Spring Fire Deptarment’s trucks is resplendently decked in digital controls.

Many places in Canada employ this cheery flower as a sign of Spring and of hope. Daffodils are growing everywhere on Salt Spring Island; often in the wild where they seem to look after themselves just fine.

Once home to Canada’s most expensive gas, this station on the main corner in downtown Ganges is no more. Blain’s repair shop is still open in the former Salt Spring Coffee location…
