Saltspring United U14 Boys silver dominated their District Cup final but were held to a 0-0 draw. Gordon Head was one shot better in the shootout.

“23 adults and 26 youth sat down for conversations on Thursday at GISS. This was the fourth Bridging the Gap forum for adults and youth, supported by Service Canada and designed to give youth an opportunity to explore career paths by talking to adults working in a field that interests them and to give adults a chance to share their experience.”

Forty-two lambs this year at Dave Astill’s Cottonwood farm. And, despite living on a farm myself once upon a time, I didn’t know that lambs wag their tails furiously (like puppies) when nursing.

Learning may look the same, but there’s some fundamental changes in education happening in the Gulf Islands School District.
