It’s the sunrise that wasn’t. It’s blue, but I’m not. I like it.
We’re looking out Ganges Harbour, over the Sisters Islands and beyond to the outer Gulf Islands.

Yet another sign of spring. Baseball on a spectacular spring evening. It’s the season opener for Salt Spring baseball (Pee Wee division). The Duncan catcher is looking right into the seven o’clock sun, but the batter has his eye on the ball.
Colour or black in white? Pluses and minuses to both. Which do you like better for this image?


It was Foxglove Farm and Garden’s Spring Open House yesterday. There seemed to be lots going on, smiles, sunshine, food and lots of 4H kids and their animals. Amongst all the plants and flowers though, this one reminded me of The Joker with his crooked smile and overdone make-up.
