Women’s Olympic Hockey Gold Medal Game:
The United States played with speed and skill to take the lead.
Canada came back with heart, to win Gold.

Lettuce Wall at GISS Cafeteria

Lettuce Wall at GISS

Inside the cafeteria: a living lettuce wall sculpture (the lettuce is used in lunches prepared by cafeteria students and purchased by students and staff).  Water and nutrients trickle through the piping, tickling the plant’s roots.

Outside the cafeteria: a table in the new hydroponics greenhouse.
