Yesterday marked three years of Salt Spring Photos. Some people do silly things on their birthday, so I thought I’d join them. This photo looks odd because it’s upside down.
Those of you with laptops and iPads are smugly turing your screens, the rest of us are testing our necks.
On with year four…

Thursday morning, 7:48 am. Under the watchful eye of a resident tug, the pre-dawn glow illuminates the sea and sky. A Saltspring Air flight stops in Ganges before heading to the Vancouver seaplane terminal.
This post marks a year of Salt Spring Photos on this “new” website and almost three years of documenting the place and lifestyle of this beautiful Gulf Island.
Thanks for visiting. See you Monday, January 2, 2012.

It’s a great place to spend the holidays. May your holidays be wonderful, wherever they are.

Sometimes, you need to get off the Rock (Salt Spring Island).
But some of the things you see on the big island make you wonder.
Comments anyone?
Photographs of Salt Spring Island and areas reachable by ferry and road (and sometimes off-road).
