Eel Grass Flowing in the Tide
A slow Sunday experiment.

Every morning we hear several minutes of battle cry.
This little guy has been SUPER busy, racing around one tall fir at our place and knocking down cones. Sounds like a war zone.
This photo was taken with a long lens; the squirrel was 12 metres above the ground. And is seen here fearlessly working ‘upside down’.
We’ve lived in the same area for over 30 years and this is the first squirrel we’ve seen.

Late summer in Mistaken Identity (organic) Vineyards.
The wine is still on the vine.
Just released: a promotional piece for the International Education program in the Gulf Islands School District. Produced with former GISS student and now Vancouver videographer, Eric Peterson. There’s a nice look at the area, the school (GISS), and the kids; and about 160 of my photos. About 3 and one half minutes.

Poolside on a blue-sky day in August
Another Saturday Salt Spring home photo; this time a salute to the spectacular summer weather through June, July, and August.
Photographs of Salt Spring Island and areas reachable by ferry and road (and sometimes off-road).
