There are signs of spring everywhere. Well almost everywhere.
This old Salt Spring Island farm seems to have been forgotten by Mother Nature.

It’s the sunrise that wasn’t. It’s blue, but I’m not. I like it.
We’re looking out Ganges Harbour, over the Sisters Islands and beyond to the outer Gulf Islands.

Boaters walk their dog at Fulford Harbour during low tide.
They’ve left their dingy anchored (I hope) at the top left edge of the beach. The tide was coming in on the flats; quickly. Unfortunately I couldn’t stick around for the excitement.

Two friends out for a walk past the old tree at Channel Ridge Farm. Their destination was the new runway for remote control airplanes.

The Howe Sound Queen seems to have its own light as it heads from Crofton on Vancouver Island to Vesuvius on Salt Spring Island. Behind is Catalyst Paper’s Crofton Mill.
*note:
There was a very small window in which to capture this image. And I’m sure people wondered about the strange man hurrying from the ferry lineup towards the dock carrying a camera and large white lens…
Photographs of Salt Spring Island and areas reachable by ferry and road (and sometimes off-road).
