A single cruiser overnights at Fernwood Pier in autumn-like weather. The pier is one of the quietest early-morning places on northern Salt Spring island. Before long, the winter birds will arrive in this area and liven things up a little.

I don’t wonder it’s quiet there, it’s in the middle of no-where. The one-time I’ve seen it, I couldn’t figure why they put it there.
