This little guy, who stood about two feet tall, was racing around as his dad set up at the Salt Spring Saturday Market. But his eyes always seemed to be on his dad.

I heard this bee buzzing around as I was leaving the house yesterday.
The bee was very considerate and patient, pausing for a few seconds in a bright spot in the garden and allowing me to sort out my camera gear and grab this photo.

Or more.

It’s a treat to work with Salt Spring artists as they constantly reinvent themselves. This exquisite handmade glass bowl has a funny story to tell as, in stages, it went from abandoned reject to star. Head over to leatherbarrow glass studio if you like.

Happy birthday little (retired) sister!

I pass this perfect driveway quite often. I’ve yet to see a fir cone or other nasty bit out of place and spoiling the view. I wonder if the horses notice…

“Hello honey; I’m in Ganges and I’m picking up dinner. Call me back if you want me to pick up anything else.”
