A stream nears the ocean. The cedars, grasses, mosses, and the haphazard fallen trees, branches and leaves remain in a natural state. This is what happens when there’s no one in charge of keeping things neat and tidy.
Salt Spring Photographer John Cameron

Photographs of Salt Spring Island and areas reachable by ferry and road (and sometimes off-road).
‘Do you’ see the very tall couple leaning against the tall tree stump? Maybe it’s just my eyesight!!!
Nope, but there’s a tiny, mossy, Sasquach on the right top of the stump. Legs crossed. The forest is alive with creatures!
It’s wonderful when nature spirits appear to the viewer long after the shutter clicks! Perhaps a lesson in…. be slow and open!
Some of us are getting slower all the time ;-)
