Right on schedule, in early January the sun rises straight out Ganges Harbour—about 122 degrees Southeast. And does so at a very civilized time around 8 a.m. This makes for lots of gawking and traffic congestion (30 cars/hr instead of 10) on Upper Ganges Road.
I love this image and I am considering it for the SeaChange office. I think a local photo would be a better match than a West Coast photo. The colours in this image are lovely and warm.
Thanks Anne, I believe I have several images with this look. And perhaps one or two with the new high res medium format camera, which would be stunning for a large print. I’ll have a look.
Hi John, Magic shot :)
Thanks Natascha.
