Gulf Island Secondary School (GISS) on Salt Spring Island
‘CLOSED’ seems a bit harsh. Lots goes on behind the scenes in a school district during the summer. But I’ve not seen the playing fields so brown—ever. Perhaps it’s just the the fields that are closed.

One excavator finally put the Fulford Inn out of its misery.
Like all things ‘Salt Spring’, some will miss the venerable landmark. Some won’t.

As though respect was in order, the machine operator gently reduced the Inn to a pile of sticks.



The sight lines inside this Salt Spring waterfront home are inspired.
The interior spaces are large, luxurious and beautifully appointed.
And the exterior is OK too.
