I came across this scene recently and felt it deserved to be captured. The patina of the old desk and wide plank floor are lovely.

There are two Personal Flotation Device Loaner Stations on Salt Spring Island.
The Gulf Island Marine Rescue Society and the Harbour Authority of Salt Spring are behind the project.
Salt Spring Island carpenter Josh Hart built the free loaner stations out of driftwood.
