The Salt Spring Market is underway.
And it looks like Molly’s got her hands full this year at the Bullock Lake Farm Stand.
It’s great to see young people enthusiastically taking on the farming business.

A ferry passenger seems to be standing watch on the Howe Sound Queen.
It’s an early morning sailing so the sun isn’t quite up and the lights of the mill at Crofton are reflecting across the ocean.


2:15 pm at the head of Ganges Harbour
Once upon a time there was to be a continuous boardwalk, (away from traffic) from the Ganges waterfront past this area.
But that’s a political story someone else can tell.
When I happened by, work was paused, presumably waiting for more giant retaining wall blocks.

Fernwood School students were seen trying out the almost complete ‘natural playground’ yesterday during lunch.
Friday they begin a two week spring break. I bet their parents are hoping for better weather than is currently forecast.
