A de Havilland Beaver heads out Ganges Harbour last week though sea fog on the sunrise flight to downtown Vancouver.
Ethereal, John. And so warm!
Doesn’t happen every year, but has a couple of times this year. Needs to be very cold air moving over the warmer, moist surface air. And, with a clear sunrise the magic orange sea fog happens!
