Dry Leaf
A small treasure from our morning dog walk through the forest. The forest seems very dry for this time of year and many of the Oregon Grape leaves are brightly coloured like this one.

Cameron thought I might like to photograph it on a piece of white paper placed on the deck. Good idea. But he was fast asleep before I was finished…

      And not just here. Thought I’d be photographing some rushing streams on my way to the Port Renfrew area. All streams as low as I’ve seen them…

    I stared at the pic for a while, as I almost expect the leaf to to change colour again , like a chameleon.
