A perfect morning at Botany Bay has the gulls standing around, watching the waves and pondering the ‘issues’ recently debated during the election campaign.

This small crowd became a big one as the sky gradually darkened at Fernwood Pier last evening.
And this is the ‘blood moon’ they came to see:

Beddis is a shell, sand and pebble beach just outside Ganges.

This is the flip side of yesterday’s Shoreline Sculpture image. Yesterday’s image was captured looking somewhat inland. Today’s image looks more out to sea. The wind was coming up, there was a light rain and the colour and texture of the intertidal zone was magnificent.
For the gulls on the nearby rock, just another day at the office.
