Water seems to be returning to the mountains.
This is Harris Creek alongside the Pacific Marine Circle Route (committee’s name, not mine).

Not many weeks ago the playing fields at Gulf Islands Secondary were parched, devoid of grass and prepared for a rebirth. The SD64 grounds crew will continue to baby the fields for a few more months and then set the fields free to the not-so-patiently waiting hoards. It looks like it will be worth the wait.

Wet weather is forecast for the Gulf Islands for the while. Hopefully the beginning of the end of the drought.

An all candidates meeting held during the afternoon in the Gulf Islands Secondary gym. Actually, not quite all candidates as one didn’t attend.

Incumbent, Elizabeth May was comfortable with this crowd.
