A very interesting rock formation at a fairly low tide. The reef parallels the shore and the road. With only the odd tree between you and the ocean, it’s a captivating effect.

Fulford Harbour and Beyond
The Skeena Queen heads out Fulford Harbour on its way to Swartz Bay. Salt Spring is of course on each side of the harbour. Next, in the near distance, are more Gulf Islands, then Georgia Strait.
If you look hard you can see the Vancouver area, Robert’s Bank Terminal, and on the far right, Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal.

I forgot about the interesting, mostly Arbutus, leaves that develop wonderful colours, patterns and ‘trails’. I created a substantial leaf image collection last fall then forgot about them.
