Father and son musicians do a pretty good job trying to pull off the tough-guy look while at the Harbour House Hotel. These two don’t play music; they live music.

A small number of intrepid sailors cruise the Gulf Islands in January. And get to wake up to views like this towards the Channel Islands.

Just another spectacularly colourful morning looking South-East in Ganges Harbour on Salt Spring Island. That floatplane, heading to Vancouver, is probably carrying some folks who want to pick up the pace a bit…

This Mute Swan was seen hanging about near Gastronomic Alley (formerly called Gasoline Alley) in Ganges. The swan seemed very used to photographers’ antics.
