A biker stops to take in the morning view from downtown Ganges. The sun was quickly burning off the overnight fog.

Built in 1929; restored and cruising now. This lovely boat is tied up in Ganges on Salt Spring Island.
I wonder what the chase was all about and what it might be about now?

People arriving, people departing. And, depending on how you look at it, some people are arriving to depart…
Friday through Monday are the busiest times as folks commute to and from Vancouver. And other folks come for the weekend.

The hills and mountains look mysterious, but there’s not a lot to love about the wildfire smoke earlier this week.
This is a late morning colour photograph looking towards Active Pass; above the smoke it’s a clear blue sky (I’m told).

This is an odd view of a bank in Ganges on Salt Spring Island. It’s taken from a parking lot.
I suppose lots of people have money piled up in there…gaining no interest.
