Seahorse again. Another spectacular sunrise.
—Spoiled on Salt Spring

Last Friday saw the first frost of the season at the marinas and docks in Ganges. And the beginnings of a low layer of fog (caused by the difference between sea and air temperatures) over the water. For the next month or so, the sun rises straight into Ganges harbour making early winter mornings very special.

A fabulously dark and foggy morning at Ganges Marina on Salt Spring Island.

Enormous rising sun lights up clouds and mist in Salt Spring’s Ganges Habour on a January morning. Hopefully a bit of a pick-me-up for ‘Blue Monday’!

A floatplane and commercial boat leave Ganges Harbour during a golden sunrise.
