Coworker

Coworker

11:30 a.m.

When you work from home you take what you can get when it comes to coworkers. This little one looks at me through my office window. And I look right back. I liked the directional winter sidelight coming through the trees today, so we had a 10 second portrait session.

Another View of Crofton Mill

5:50 p.m. A different angle.

Looking back from the north-western shores of Salt Spring Island toward Crofton and the mill on Vancouver Island.
To see previous posts related to Crofton, just enter crofton in the search box on the bottom of today’s website post.

hint: if you are reading this in the daily email, did you know you can just click on the image to get directly to the website?
(of course, that’s only true when I remember to the link the image to the day’s post)

Abandoned, I think

January 22, 2016

Abandoned, I think

Sometimes there are signs of life around this place as it seems there’s still a bit of farming going on. But the now-drooping Christmas lights didn’t come on this year and the plastic covering the door the openings has give up the ghost. The two duck sculptures however are still on display on the lower left window ledge.

At the Piano

3:10 p.m. GISS Music Performance Dress Rehearsal at ArtSpring Theatre

I noticed an interesting reflection as this student played the piano.
The show takes place tonight. There are some stunning voices this semester, tons of energy and talent, lots of fun and a great many wow moments.
