A Clear Day on the Island
Gulf Islands Morning
This photograph could be titled ‘Waiting for the sunrise which didn’t happen’. Well, it did slowly get brighter, but there was no blast of colour in the clouds. It was however, an unusually tranquil morning; virtually silent with no road, water or air traffic. Lovely.
Salt Spring Island Spring Sky
What a great changing spring sky yesterday afternoon about five o’clock. Within minutes, we had blue sky, then a full rainbow, then the sky pictured above, then an ominous dark sky.
Gulf Islands View
Here’s another Saturday home. We’re looking (from Salt Spring) through Captain Passage with Salt Spring on the left, Prevost on the right and Galiano in the background. And Vancouver behind the clouds. This is a small portion of the upper deck of a two-deck home on a 25 acre estate now on the market (for less than a knock-down in Vancouver…).
