Overcast, light showers, grey, fog patches, dark. The shortest day of the year was, as far as I could tell, short on pretty.
And I’m hoping this dull monochrome image portrayed the day well.
Still holding out hope for a glimpse of the rare Christmas full moon…

Just before sunrise, a long exposure photo. The stripes across the water are the tracks left by geese taking off.
The Howe Sound Queen appears out of the fog near the Salt Spring Island shore (at Vesuvius).
9:15 am Botany Bay: light coastal fog with the promise of warm sunshine
Less than two hours from Salt Spring Island.
Is it just me or is this an incredible place?
