As seen on our morning dog-walk route. Low cloud or fog was rolling up the hillside and, as the sun peeked out from behind a cloud, the rays appeared. It was all over in a matter of seconds.
This photo was taken with an iPhone 6. The easy ‘touch interface’ of the iPhone made the shot possible. Odd that digital cameras have yet to implement such a quick and easy interface. (so far only the Leica T gives us this glimpse into the future of the camera interface)
A Ganges shed that I pass by regularly.
This door, lock and knob are beginning to show some character.
Would it be better to scrape off the old paint, paint and install new hardware? Or not?

Like a sailing race, the leader does not get bogged down with rules; it’s often much messier deeper in the paddling*.
*collective noun for a group of ducks in the water.
I came across this photo taken during the recent frost/snow event on Salt Spring. Lots to see here; I’m thinking it might be fun to poke around inside the shop behind.
