Lunchtime tide yesterday at an undisclosed-location.
Salt Spring continues to surprise. Where is the above picture? (the picture below is a hint, or at least may help). Use the comment link to… well… comment!


We’re looking east from Salt Spring to Portland Island, Ruckle Park (also on Salt Spring), a BC Ferry travelling from Vancouver to Victoria, Pender Island, Saturna Island and the Cascade Mountains south of the border. Oh, and the moon.

Almost there.
Above: water cascades down from the top of Mount Tuam though a deep gorge on south Salt Spring Island.
(Thanks Dan for the location hint; two nice hikes so far. Today’s was in 13 degree weather.)
Below: only a few steps downstream, fresh water joins the salty type. And an intrepid Westie is thrown in for good measure.
